Age made no difference when it
came to dying from injuries suffered in accidents. The span reaches
from a 2-year-old boy to a man of1
85. Four persons over 80 years of
age were killed.
The 76 deaths mark the second
highest toll in the city's history,
being seven under the all-time high
of 1933-34, when 83 suffered fatal
injuries.
The figures for 1934-35 dropped
to 64, but climbed last year to 72.
Figures disclose that more than
80 per cent of the fatalities occurred from accidents happening
