COUNTY POSTMASTERS DINE
20 Attend First Get-Together Affair
of Kind Here.
Postal laws were discussed and experiences exchanged yesterday at a
meeting at the Davenport hotel of
20 postmasters of Spokane county.
The meeting was the first of its nature held here, but others are
planned, the next one to be held in four weeks.
Miss Theo Hall, postmistress at
Medical Lake, presided at the session,
which was preceded by a luncheon.
O. Logsdon, postmaster at Sprague
and president of the state branch of
district postmasters, and T. J.
Smith, Spokane postmaster, also
spoke.
Primarily the meeting was called as
a get-acquainted affair and to permit the officials to talk over problems. It is in line with recent suggestions from Washington that federal department heads employ such
meetings as a means for greater co-
otjr ration between departments.
