WATER JOBS START.
PALOUSE! Wash., Nov. 26.—Nine hundred feet of new water mains have been put into place during the first week of the WPA work here,
Superintendent E. E. Ogan announced today. The job involved the digging of & ditch three blocks long from which about 300 cubic yards of
soil were taken, removal of the old pipe, and laying of the new. Water was sent through the pipe today.
Work will start the first of the week on another pipe line about 1300 feet long, and after one or two smaller jobs on the water system, the crew
of U men will start, operation of the city rock crusher and the resurfacing of streets.
