Pioneers Reorganize Association
- to Include Washington
APPOINT EXECUTIVE BOARD
North Idaho and Eastern Washington
Residents Are Eligible to Membership in Organization.
Perfection of the reorganized pioneers' association was accomplished
at a meeting yesterday of the pioneers'
committee of the Spalding centennial
when a sub-committee consisting of
George E. Erb, Mrs. J. M. Bonner
and Philip Welsgerber presented a
constitution and by-laws, which were
adopted. Under the constitution the
narne is the Pioneer Association of
North Idaho and Eastern Washington. The territorial limits include the

11 Perce, Clearwater, Latah,
ih, Shoshone, Kootenai, Bon-
id Boundary, within Idaho, and
i tan, Garfield and Asotin within
Washington. Membership is limited to
whites who have resided within these
limits for more than 30 years.
Classes of Membership.
Four classes of membership are provided. The first is that of honorary
pioneers, who have resided within
these limits since 1876, and their direct descendants who have attained
the age of 30 years. Pioneers of the
■ lass are those who have been
residents for upward of 45 years;
those of the second class, resident for
upward of 35 years; the third class
for residents upward of 30 years. All
of either class who were born within
the limits will be distinguished as
native-born pioneers. The membership fee is $1 per year.

ond, red; third, white; honorary,
In addition to the officers already
elected, provision is made for a vice
president for each county and for an
'C committee to include the
officers, immediate past president and
two members at large.
George E. Erb is past president and

committee.
