CRANKS UNMANNED AIRPLANE
Ship Cavorts Over Field, Crashes Hangar and Burns, With Another.
COLFAX, Wash., July 13.—While Henry Ewing of Colfax was cranking his Travelair plane at the Long airport, near here, last evening, the engine suddenly started, while there was no one at the. controls and Ewing was unable to board it.
It went first one direction and then another about the field and, finally, after barely missing the service station, crashed into the hangar, containing William Genero's Eagle Rock plane, and took fire. Both planes were destroyed.
