PULLMAN YEGGS ARE SENTENCED
Albert Corrigan Given Three to 15 Years, David Powell, Two to 10, on Three Counts.
To Run Consecutively.

COLFAX, Wash., April 25. -- Pleading guilty of second degree burglary for entering the L. M. Curtis store at Pullman early last Friday morning and to grand larceny on two counts for looting the store and hauling the merchandise to Indian canyon. Spokane, in a truck stolen from the Pacific Fruit and Produce company. Albert Corrigan, 32, today was giver three to 15 years on each of the three counts, in the Walla Walla state penitentiary, the terms to run consecutively.
Corrigan's partner, David Powell alias Vaugan Dillsworth, 20, admitting similar charges, was given consecutive sentences of 2 to 10 years on each of three counts.
First Denied Guilt.
Prosecutor John D. Evans informed Judge R. L. McCroskey that Corrigan and Powell had denied their guilt until their plunder was recovered and that they were forced to give assistance in finding the goods in the canyon.
Powell made only the statement that he did not remove the merchandise from the store but that he was with Corrigan when it was done.
Corrigan, who appeared after Powell had been taken back to his cell. insisted upon an attorney. G. A. Weldon was appointed. After a brief consultation, Corrigan said he was ready to plead guilty on all counts.
Suspected of Murder.
Judge McCroskey made no comment in passing sentence upon either of the outlaws, both of whom are suspected of the murder of W. J. Maguire, night marshal at Pullman, which occurred a few minutes after the Curtis store was robbed.
