COUNTY DEBATE TITLE TO TEKOA
TEKOA, Wash., Jan. 17.—Tekoa's last debate of the Whitman county season was held here tonight with St. John. Tekoa upheld the negative and:
won by a two-point decision. It: gives Tekoa first place in the county. The affirmative was upheld by Alice Curtis, Kathleen Feenan and Donald Taylor, the negative by Edward Connell, Stanley Warwick and Joe Kessinger.
Miss Alice Dopps, Washington State college, was judge, and the Rev. E. E. Beckman, chairman.
The team standings in the county are: Tekoa, first; Rosalia, second; Garfield, third. Tekoa has won the JDelta Sigma Rho cup two years in
Succession and will defend it next week at Pullman.
