V. S. Reclamation Head Will Confer Here Today With Columbia Irrigation League.

be guests of the Spokane Chamber of
Commerce at its weekly luncheon in
the assembly room and all have con
sented to speak. It will probably be
their only public appearances while

The finance committee of the
league held a meeting yesterday in
view of the fact that C. C. Colt, Port
land, chairman, had to leave for the
east last night en route to the annual
D. W. Davis, United States commissioner of reclamation, former governor of Idaho, and his party of reclamation service officials, will reach
Spokane at 7:25 o'clock this morning
to spend three days in the city on
Columbia basin business. This is the
first visit of Mr. Davis to Spokane
since his appointment as head of the
United States reclamation service.
Mr. Davis will be accompanied by

tamar Hamele, chief counsel: Miles
Cannon, field commission!
