HOFIUS-FERRIS BRANCH
TO SERVE COLFAX AREA
Announcement has been made by
the Hofius-Ferrls Equipment company, Spokane "Caterpillar" tractor
distributors, of the establishment of
a branch sales and service plant in
Colfax to serve Colfax and territory
immediately west and south, including
Lacrosse and Hooper. According to
H. G. Ferris, president of the Spokane company, the new branch results from the greatly increased number of Caterpillar gas and Diesel tractors in service in Whitman county.
"We will maintain also a complete
parts and repair service for all Caterpillar products, including harvesters
—both the old Holt harvester, the
Caterpillar harvester of recent years
and the present new harvester line
now manufactured by the John Deere
company," said Mr. Ferris. "Our Colfax branch will be in charge of Earl
Gibson, with the parts department
in charge of William Brubaker."
The Hofius-Ferris company also
maintains a branch at Pullman to
handle its business in the eastern part j
of Whitman county.
