SHIP BRINGS GAS FOR SEARCHERS
BARROW, Alaska, Sept. 11. UP) —The Russian icebreaker Krassin was discharging gasoline here today, after arriving at 11:55 p. m. (2:55 a. m., Saturday), last night from her arctic cruise in search of the lost Russian transpolar plane and its crew of six. Her supplies brought the total to 20,000 gallons available for searching planes working out of this farthest north Alaskan settlement. The North Star also braved yesterday's fog
to moor off shore and discharge gasoline for the Russians and disembark surveyors to plan a government hospital for the Eskimos.
