YAKIMA AREA HAS WATER
No Shortage and Heavy Snows in
Mountain Areas.
YAKIMA, Jan. 30.—No shortage of
water is evident in reservoirs for the
Yakima reclamation project this year,
with 152,117 acre feet now on hand
and heavy snowfall reported on all
watersheds. Cle Elum is the only lake
empty and that is because construction crews on the new dam have torn
but the old crib dam at Outlet.
Building permits calling for $11,905
expenditures during January are reported by E. S. Lueth, building inspector.
Moxee State bank, recently closed,
