Main Speakers for Inland Empire Education Meetings
"Education's Program for Progress" will be the theme of the 1935 Inland Empire Education association meeting here in April, and here are the five principal speakers who will handle the subject in the general sessions.
Left to right, they are: Robert Maynard Hutchins, president of the University of Chicago; Dr. Grayson N. Ke-
fauver, dean of education at Stanford; Willard E. Givens, executive secretary of the National Education association; Dr. Malcolm McLean, director of the general college at the University of Minnesota, and Dr. Jesse H.
Newlon, of the teachers' college of Columbia university. Dr. M. G. Neale, University of Idaho president and
president as well of the I. E. A. A., reports the program is rapidly rounding into shape and predicts a gathering
notable not only in attendance but in general interest and educational value.
