By the end
of September, 375 miles of new
standard oiled highway will be
completed and virtually bring to
an end the oiling program of the
year, the bureau of highways announced today. 5
This mileage includes Improvement on nearly all of the main
highways of the state and a number of heavily traveled Inter-city
highways.
Perhaps the. longest single strip
is the 65-mile Blackfoot to Arco
job, which the bureau estimated
would be completed in 10 days. An
aggregate of about 40 miles in the
vicinity of Moscow will be completed by the end of the month,
while smaller jobs at different
points will be completed In 10 days.

Ashton and Yellowstone park, near
McCammon and near Emmett.
A new five-mile job from Jerome
west will be started as soon as sufficient gravel can be spread, provided weather permits.
Recent rains and cold weather
