Pages 7-8 of the physical copy of this issue were removed or torn prior to coming to the archives; scans of microfilm have been substituted. The Evergreen is Washington State Universitys student newspaper, published regularly by students since 1895. It was preceded by The College Record, which dates to 1892 and was initially published by the university administration. |

| Digitization | Original issues were scanned as 24 bit color 300 dpi pdfs on a Zeutschel OS 14000 A0-LS scanner. Microfilmed issues were scanned and OCRed as 300 dpi pdfs on an e-Image Data ScanPro 2000 microfilm scanner. Using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Acrobat X, the tiffs were OCRed, converted to pdfs, and combined with the microfilm pages and then uploaded into CONTENTdm. |
