Description
An assortment of miniture dishes , cups , and bowls . Part of a children's play set . The little wood tool below the two plates on the left is called a molinillo (or mexican chocolate stirrer) . It is used for "whisking " a hot chocolate drink and making it frothy . These items came from the "Arcoa Museo " a cabinet containing paintings , drawings and other articles made and put together by school children in Mexico . It was given to the state of Idaho in July of 1930 in appreciation for gifts given to Mexican school children the year before . It was organized by the Red Cross program , "World Friendship Among Children. "

Format
Original photographs were taken with a Nikon D1X camera as 300 dpi TIFF files. The images were then converted into 72 dpi JPEG files through PhotoShop 6.0 and added to the CONTENT database at the WSU Libraries.
