Resided Here 45 Years—Funeral Thursday Morning.
Mrs. Emma Curran Graham, S508 Cedar, pioneer matron, widow of the Councilman Peter Graham of Spokane's early history, died Monday night at Sacred Heart hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Graham, who was born in Picton, Ont., came to Spokane 45 years ago as a bride. She was one of the 16 original parishioners when the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes was organized, was one of the charter members of the Altar society of that church, and a factor for many years in church activities. Her only daughter, Miss Bessie Graham, is a teacher in North Central high school.
The funeral will be Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from Our Lady of Lourdes' cathedral. The body is at Smith & Co.'s.
