DAVENPORT, Wash., March 12.—
Mrs. Hannah Jenson, 84, a pioneer of
Lincoln county and wife of Peter Jenson, Davenport, died today in her home.
Born in Sweden, she came to America wilii her mother, two sisters and
a brother and settled in Utah in 1862.
She was married in 1875 to Pete Jenson and they came north in a wagon
caravan in 1883 and settled on a
farm three miles north of here. She
was active in the Presbyterian church
and the W. C. T. U.
She is survived by her widower; a
daughter, Mrs. Clara Myers, Spokane;
7 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m., from the Presbyterian church here, the Rev. Lee Knoll
officiating.
