PACIFIC TO GET ASHES OF HARBOR RESERVIST: Sea Services for Gordon F. Calder Final Request by Former Fifth Fleet Division Member. Aberdeen, May 17. - The broad bosom of the Pacific will receive the ashes of the late Gordon F. Calder, former fifth Fleet Division member and son of former county assessor J.E. Calder, according to the father. This was the final request of the boy before he died. Gordon had made several cruises as a member of the Grays Harbor Naval Reserve force, and often told his parents that his happiest hours had been spent at sea, and that he would like to be buried at sea at death. It is expected that Eagle Boat No. 11, the Grays Harbor Naval training ship, will take the ashes to sea and dispose of them outside of the Grays Harbor Bar.
