CAME TO REGION AS INFANT
W. A. Liddle, 58, Dies—Mrs. Emily Ingram, 84, Passes On.
COLFAX, Wash., Oct. 4.—William
A. Liddle, 58, died at his home 10
miles east of here today, following
an illness of two years. He was
born at Huntsville, near Walla
Walla, and came to Colfax with his
parents when seven months old.
Surviving are his widow; aged
mother, Mrs. T. J. Liddle, Colfax;
four children, N. V. Liddle, Riggins,
Idaho, and Theodore M., Olive M.
and Harold, all of Klberton, Wash.;
one sister, Mrs. Charles Hammers,
Colfax, and three brothers, Dick,
Colfax; Archie, Deary, Idaho, and
Dogan, Colfax. Burial will be here.
Burial services for Mrs. Emily
Ingram, 84, who died at Bend, Ore.,
September 29, will be held at the
grave in the Colfax cemetery Monday, the Rev. Henry M. McDowell
officiating. Surviving are her
widower, Charles Ingram, Colfax,
and five daughters and two sons,
Mrs. H. E. Kepler, Baraquilla,
Colombia, S. A.; Mrs. J. M. Pickrell,
Colfax; Mrs. S. E. Burgunder, Portland; Mrs. Mae Young, Astoria,
Ore.; Mrs. E. L. Ingersoll, Seattle;
Charles Ingram, San Francisco, and
M. A. Ingram, San Diego, Cal.
