TO BURY MRS. MACKENZIE
Prominent Colfax Matron's Last Rites
COLFAX, Wash., Oct. 30.—The funeral of Mrs. Frances MacKenzie, will be held at the family home Sunday afternoon. She was 53 years of age and
came to Whitman county in 1875 with her parents from Eugene, Ore. Her
father, L. T. Bragg, was the first
auditor of Whitman county.
She was one of the first students
to graduate from Washington State
college and afterwards went to school
in New York city. She was married
in 1902. Surviving are the husband,
one daughter, Helen; one sister, Mrs.
K. L. McCroskey of Colfax, and one
brother, Bert Bragg of Pasadena, Cal.
Funeral services will be held under
auspices of the Christian Science
church, with Mrs. D. Millgard as
reader. Pallbearers will be Virgil T.
McCroskey, Spokane; John Gerding,
Pullman; Harold Doolittle, Spokane;
William S. Smith, Colfax; Robert
McCroskey, Colfax, and Charles L. Chamberlain, Colfax.
