MRS. JAMES K. EWING
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary S. Ewing, 79-year-old pioneer Washington State resident, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow in the Johnson & Hamilton Chapel. The body will be sent to Nickerson, Kas., for burial.
Mrs. Ewing died February 5 at her home, 311 N. 48th St. Funeral services were delayed by the illness of her sister and only surviving relative, Miss Ernestine L. Kinney, with whom she lived.
Mrs. Ewing was born in Iowa and, after living in Nickerson many years, came west in 1883 with her husband, James K. Ewing. He died here in 1917. They settled at Eagle Harbor, where they remained until 1812, when they moved to Seattle. Mrs. Ewing was a member of the John F. Miller
Relief Corps and the Kansas Woman's Club.
