Description | 112 minute oral history with Catherine Walker, conducted for a Women in the West (HST 398 course) at Washington State University. Discusses childhood moving around for her fathe'rs health between Palouse and Clarkston until his death. She finished high school and Normal School in Lewiston for teaching, she took teaching positions based upon her mother's health, who moved around with her until her death. As a rural school teacher she taught many grades, basic curriculum and was considered strict but fair in teaching.
