Also talks about what it means to be a teacher today. 31 :4 7-3 8: 16 She talks about walking to school, getting her drivers license at 16, her families cottage on Crab Lake, about her canoe, and about how she enjoys the outdoors. 38:16-39:23 She talks about how old she was when she had her children. 39:23-41:30 She talks about how she went to the University ofWisconsin. She wanted to be a teacher, she still wood like to go back but she doesn't know what for. She also talks about how she got married instead of finishing school. 41:30-43:27 She talks about all the places that she has lived and when she moved and where she moved to. 43:27-44:30 She talks about when she was growing up what she liked to do, play sports, and ride bikes. 44:30-45:34 She talks again about various jobs she had while growing up. Description | 56 minute oral history with AnnaMarie Montgomery. conducted for a Women in the West (HIST 398 course at Washington State University). She describes her early childhood in the small town where her father grew up. She graduated high school and attended the University of Wisconsin. She worked various jobs, and was married at 21. She had three children and moved to various places around the U.S., but later divorced and raised her three children. She eventually settled in Pullman, Washington and is very active within the community. |

Film clips were created as mpeg-4 files using Adobe Premiere Elements 9 to add selected images to the wav audio files. Print documents were scanned to pdf format using a Xerox Workcentre 5030 copier/scanner. |
