Description | 32 minute oral history with Rose Fisher, conducted for a Women in the West (HIST 398 course at Washington State University). She describes her early childhood and growing up on a farm and being the youngest of nine children. Her family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho to farm during the Great Depression. She describes the impact of World War II on family and talks about the family move to Utah during World War II in order to work on a military base. She eloped with an army trumpet player, and after they were married she had a daughter and the family moved to Tacoma, Washington. |

Film clips were created as mpeg-4 files using Adobe Premiere Elements 9 to add selected images to the wav audio files.
