Description | 87 minute oral history with Peggy Flaherty, conducted for a Women in the West (HIST 398 course at Washington State University). She describes growing up in a small town in Colorado, her family's role in the church, and the importance of her father after the death of her mother. After high school, she married and raised two sons. She worked several jobs to help with the family finances. They moved to Pullman, Washington for her husband's education. She and her first husband divorced after twenty years, but she remarried and is active in the Pullman community. |

Film clips were created as mpeg-4 files using Adobe Premiere Elements 9 to add selected images to the wav audio files. Print documents were scanned to pdf format using a Xerox Workcentre 5030 copier/scanner. |
