The Grout supply line was a 2-inch I.D. hose, connected to 1-1/2-inch diameter nipples, and grouted with a mixture of Portland-Laminate cement, equipped with class 500 Crane Company 1-1/2-inch grout valves. Workers used five grout mixtures with 14 cubic feet of capacity to inject cement into fissures, bore holes, and cracks. A total of 272,189 cu. ft. of grout was placed in the Grand Coulee Dam holes.
