Description
A group of male students playing football on the grass in front of the south facade of Stimson Hall . Designed by Rudolph Weaver in 1923 , Stimson Hall is the oldest extant men's dormitory on campus . Named for Regent Fred S . Stimson , the dormitory is a mixture of the Colonial and Renaissance Revival Styles . Closed in 1983 for renovation , plans to convert the building to office space were disbanded .
