Description
An interior scene of a living room and bedroom in Stimson Hall . The living room includes an upholstered couch and chair , a table and lamps ; curtains hang over the bay window . In the center of the room , a hallway leads to the bedroom where a pair of single beds are separated by a nightstand . Designed by Rudolph Weaver in 1923 , Stimson Hall is the oldest extant men's dormitory on campus . Named for Regent Fred S . Stimson , the dormitory is a mixture of the Colonial and Renaissance Revival Styles . Closed in 1983 for renovation , plans to convert the building to office space were disbanded .
