John Stevens, Thomas Garry, Aleck Pierre, Charlie Warner, David John and William Three-Mountains, all of the Willpinit territory, and practically all signers of the Indian treaty of 1887, on a recent visit to the city related events leading to the decline of the Spokane Indian tribe and predicted its complete extermination before long. Moses B. Phillips, an educated and progressive Spokane Indian, acted as interpreter. |
