$3,000,000 suit terms renewed. - Nez Perce Indians sign contract with counsel in U. S. action. - A committee of Nez Perce Indians with A. G. Wilson, Moscow, superintendent of the Nez Perce and Coeur d'Alene agencies, appeared before District Judge Miles S. Johnson here today and signed a renewal of their contract with Attorney F. M. Goodwin, Washington, D. C., to represent the tribe in its $3,000,000 suit against the United States government for alleged violations of the treaties of 1855, 1863, and 1893. The case now is on the docket of the United States court of appeals. |
