To visit where father was shot. - Son to see place where Nez Perce Indians held G. F. Cowan prisoner. - Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Cowan, W1007 Maxwell avenue, will leave tomorrow for a three weeks vacation tour of Yellowstone park, visiting the country where Mr. Cowan's mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Cowan, E1410 Thirteenth, were held captives by the Nez Perce Indians in 1877. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Maxfield and Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Andre and daughter will make the trip with the Cowans. |
