More Bonneville power planned. - President asks funds for energy units and lines. - President Roosevelt, in asking Congress for $4,000,000 to install two additional power units at Bonneville dam, and $3,500,000 to build transmission lines to Portland, Hood River, The Dalles and to Kelso and Condit, Wash., overruled Director of Budget Bell, and upheld J. D. Ross, Bonneville administrator. |
