They're both old-timers here "If you want to know about pioneer days, don't talk to me! I didn't come to Spokane until '83", said Mrs Bettie Alexander, Parkwater (left). "Mrs, Bell Newlon, here (right) came here in '72', so she's a real pioneer!" The two women, who are indirectly related, have been friends for many years. This picture was taken at Mrs. Alexander's home, while Mrs. Newlon was visiting there. Mrs Newlon's home is on Moran prairie. |
