Pioneer writes own story-Spokane matron, 79, reviews life in Inland Empire - Mrs. Blanche Higbee, W1811 Shannon, who will be 79 on January 20, has written the story of her life under the title, "The Autobiography of a Pioneer Woman" dealing with her residence in Paris, Chicago, Lansling, Colfax, Lone Pine farm, Tekoa and Spokane. The biography was written primarily for her children, to whom it is dedicated, but it is being published in Spokane for limited distribution by the Knapp Book store, 426 Peyton building. |
