Until the publication a few weeks ago by the Okanogan Independent, of the colorful life story and adventures of Ronald McDonald, sailor, trapper, prospector and rancher, and one of the most important links in the chain of events which resulted in opening Japan to world commerce, his grave near the little mountain hamlet of Toroda, in northern Washington, had been entirely forgotten. except by Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Lynch, who lived near the isolated cemetery where he was buried. |
