Half century in same spot |
Description |
Half century in same spot Travel satisfies some folk's urge for activity, but Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Von Lehe, pioneers of Spence township, have found their 50 years here all busy ones, despite the fact that their only move was just across the road from where they settled in 1885. Mr. Von Lehe, township clerk, school clerk and treasurer, and insurance solicitor on the side, has voted in his precinct every year for half century, and always as a republican. |
