Shafts widen in gold group - two veins spread with depth in silver-lead-copper ground - M. M. Fry of Bonners Ferry reports that hte gold group of four claims at Katka, near Bonners Ferry, owned and operated by T. A. Hooker and his partner, Kirchoff, has two shafts, one down about 30 feet and the other 10 feet.
