Higher values in Dickens - 861 to ton for last carload- two crossents on 700 - Preparations for increasing the tonnage being shipped to the smelter are proceeding rapidly at the Dickens Consolidated, near Kellogg, Idaho, according to W. Y. Clark, a large stockholder of Spokane, who is at the property. Returns on teh last carload of concentrate show a content of 42 per cent lead, 16.8 ounces of silver and some gold, copper and zinc. The value was $61.83 net to the ton, slightly above the average of the district, he states. |
