Gnome yields 5-ounce ore - average of eight tons- 10 tons run 4.40 ounces - "Ten mine cars, each of a ton capacity, from the mine of the Gnome Gold Mining company near Orogrande, Idaho, in October had an average content of 4.40 ounces of gold to the ton, and eight ars of the same capacity five ounces to the ton" said R. P. Woodworth, secretary-treasurer, yesterday. |
