Amazing width for gold value - 41 feet in Butte highland reported to average $19.50- sampler, assayer able - An ore body of unusual value for its width has been exposed in a crosscut from a winze sunk from the 600-foot level of the Butte Highland mine, south of Butte, Mont., according to W. L. Bell, mining engineer and manager, who is in Spokane. The crosscut leaves the winze 75 feet below the 600 level. |
