Sunshine mine hits kellogg picnic pay dirt |
Description |
Sunshine mine hits Kellogg picnic pay dirt . Just by way of helping mark the 50th anniversary of the Bunker Hill mine, at the miners' annual picnic at Kellogg, Idaho, last week-end, this float of another famous producer of the Coeur d'Alenes, the Sunshine mine, rolled into second place in the prize list. It was said the judges could not indentify the hard rock crew behind the whiskers, grown to give the pioneer touch to the celebration, but it may be they never looked past the charm of the young lady on the float. She is Miss Thelma Goodwin, princess of the Sunshine mine. |
