Smelter men active at mining convention - Among those most active at the convention of the Northwest Mining association were the representatives of the big northwest smelters. Following the appearance on the program of E. A. WHite of the Tacoma smelter, five of the smelter men posed for a picture. First at the left is A. F. Beasley, superintendent of the Bunker Hill smelter at Kellogg, Idaho; Mr. White of Tacoma is next with three representatives of the Consolidated Mining and Smelting company of Trail, B. C., James Buchanan, general superintendent; M. M. O'Brien, assistant manager of mines, and R. W. Diamond, assistant general superintendent. |
