Mining convention is called success . The mining convention last week was a big success and of constructive importance to the mining industry, mining men reported at the weekly meeting of the Northwest Mining association at noon today. Bliss Moore, president of the association, and Walter J. Nicholls, chairman of the mining bureau of the Spokane Chamber of Commerce, reported on the meetings and spoke of the obligations to E.P. Ryan, the able toastmaster of the smoker, to Governor Clarence D. Martin and to others who gave addresses. |
