Ore shows in two places in tunnel. - Independence, near mullan, crosscutting to intercept morning vein. - To install compressor. - Capacity is sufficient to supply all needs and some of neighboring properties. - Ore was encountered in two places in the No. 4 tunnel of the Independence Lead Mines company's property, formerly known as the Independence-Gettysburn group, near Mullan, Idaho, last Tuesday, according to announcement made yesterday by W. E. Cullen, secretary of the corporation. |
