Shaft is sunk in una property. - McCaig reports progress on elk city gold mining claim. - Ralston McCaig, in charge of the development work being done by the Una Mining company, 21 miles east of Elk City, Idaho, reports that a 40-foot shaft and a 40-foot crosscut at the bottom of the shaft are both in ore, showing values of from $5 in large samples to $80 for picked samples. |
