St. Elmo silver mines to double its crew . Wallace, Idaho, Jan. 25.-John George, manager of the St. Elmo Silver Mines property, which adjoins the Coeur d'Alene Mines (Mineral point) in the Coeur d'Alene district's silver belt, reported this week that the company has extended its crosscut 140-feet since resuming operations this winter. Seven men are employed, George said, and the crew will be doubled next week. |
