Strike on Iron Daisy - lead-silver shoot is inches wide, says owner - property opened 30 years ago- six miles from Mullan - A body of lead and silver ore 18 inches wide was struck at the Iron Daisy Group mine, six miles northeast of Mullan, Idaho, on the Burke and Thompson Falls automobile road, last week" said the owner, Joe Petersen, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at the Coeur d'Alene hotel yesterday. "The ore assays $146 to the ton at 165 feet depth and $87 to the ton at 40 feet. |
