Description |
More ore found in Manhattan - body of good width followed 1100 feet at 1000-foot depth - strike on the 2000 - shoot followed 400 feet - zinc-lead content unchanged- silver, higher - Additions are being made to the known resources of the Amazon-Manhattan mine in the Nine Mile district, according to a Wallace (Idaho) report. A few months ago it was believed an end of ore had been reached on the third level, where a depth of nearly 1000 feet has been attained. At that time the ore body, which is seven to 14 feet wide, had been followed by drift for 1000 feet. The shoot has since been found at a point a short distance ahead and followed for an additional 100 feet, it is said. There are 2000 feet of ground ahead within the lines of the property in which exploration may proceed. |
