Description |
Herbert Gold crew vigorous . Development by the Herbert Gold Mines, Inc., started a month ago today, according to Samuel B. Holbert, mining engineer, who is identified with the company and the development. The president, Dr. J.W. Doughty of Sedro-Wooley, has announced that a mill would be erected on the completion of development. The development so far ordered is a raise from the No. 2 tunnel and a winze from the tunnel, designed to establish the continuity of the ore in both vertical directions from the tunnel. Sampling has revealed the conditions on the tunnel level. The raise can be continued for 250 feet before it penetrates the surface. |
