Description |
Silver mound breaks ore . Driving tunnel across large body, says manager. "Six shots fired on the surface of the Silver Mound group, near lone, a few days ago let down probably 200 tons of ore and every piece contained lead and silver" said C.A. Coffin, manager of the property, yesterday. "We are building a cabin and driving a tunnel. The tunnel will be driven to the granite, 150 feet distant. The ore deposit lies between granite-dikes 150 feet apart" Mr. Coffin placed a large sample of the ore on exhibition at the Spokane stock exchange yesterday. |
